Thank you so much to the beautiful quilters in Victoria BC for sending such a lovely quilt to my very special friend Joy. She was so appreciative and thankful to you for sending her such a thoughtful and beautiful gift of love and support. I couldn’t wait for her to open it – we were like a couple of kids, such a fun day for both of us! 💞

Thank you so much for my quilt. It means so much to me. I was gifted my quilt shortly after my diagnosis with breast cancer, it brought comfort and security as I was processing my diagnosis. And later comfort and warmth as I recovered from surgery. I keep it by side, waiting for the next part of my journey. I am thankful for the the talented people, who use their gifts to bring beauty and comfort in a difficult time, and it is even more special because it was made in my home town of Stony Plain, AB.

Many thanks for the lovely quilt that was delivered right to my door yesterday by a wonderful volunteer. It will be so much appreciated in the coming days as I take my frequent naps throughout my treatments. With much appreciation and many blessings.

I’m so in love with my quilt. So thankful for this generous gift. I will cherish it and it will give me peace while on the cancer journey.

I love my Victoria’s Quilt! It’s a beautiful and comforting piece of work that has brought me so much warmth during my treatments. I want to thank the dedicated volunteers of Victoria’s Quilts Canada for their incredible compassion and effort. This is the third time I have requested a quilt for a loved one. When my Grandmother passed from her battle with cancer, the family returned her quilt to me. I will treasure it always knowing that it provided her with warmth for both her body and her soul. I have just requested a quilt for a dear friend and I hope that she feels our strength, love and prayers as she wraps herself with her quilt that was made with such love. Cancer is a disease that leaves loved ones feeling very helpless and unsure of what to do…Victorias Quilts allows us to feel as though we are doing something tangible to express our care and love without overwhelming our loved ones. A spiritual, mental and physical gift all in one. Thank you Victorias Quilts for providing such a beautiful program for so many years. You truly make a wonderful difference in so many ways, for so many people.
