I received my quilt today. I am touched beyond words. As I look at each square I think of all of the hands who contributed and worked on this. I spend most of my time alone, this quilt brought me such comfort to think about the caring hands it represents. I am so grateful. Thank you, I will cherish it always!
I am a 20yr survivor and a grateful respient of your beautiful quilts. Mine will be 20yrs old this summer. Like me it’s been through a lot. It now sits on my bed. 🥰
I received an absolutely beautiful quilt a few weeks ago from your organization. Thoughtfully, in my favourite purples. It’s lovely, so well made, and I am amazed at all the wonderful volunteers who run this program. Funny enough, the person who had it lived just a few blocks away, so she just dropped it by my house. Thank you for that!! I had my first chemo treatment today and it was perfect to keep me warm and cozy through the whole procedure. Even one of the nurses commented on how beautiful it is. I am so grateful for this. It makes me smile every time I look at it. Thank you to all who are involved!

Thank you so much for the beautiful quilt you so generously gifted to me. It is a truly meaningful gift, given from the heart.
My cancer journey began with prostate cancer in 2011, followed by surgery in 2012. I was fortunate to remain cancer-free for many years until 2024, when I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. As of May 2026, I now have muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC), so things are more serious. Since then, I have faced treatments, procedures, and all the challenges that come with battling cancer.
Receiving your quilt meant far more than simply receiving a blanket. It brought warmth, comfort, and a reminder that there are caring people thinking of those of us walking this difficult path.
I especially want to acknowledge all of the volunteers who give their time, talent, and compassion to create these quilts. Every stitch reflects kindness, generosity, and hope. Your thoughtful work is a reflection of the care in your hearts, and it makes a real difference to people like me who are facing cancer.
Thank you for the care and encouragement you share with cancer patients and their families every day. Your gift will be treasured and appreciated for years to come.

You will never know how much this gifted quilt touched me. I had tears of heartfelt gratitude and tears of sadness. I have just started my cancer journey and the quilt arrived the day I had surgery. Thank you to Kimberly for submitting my name and to Donna for delivering the beautiful quilt.

We are so thankful for the service that Victoria’s Quilts volunteers provide. Cancer is affecting so many people in our area and the quilts that we have ordered for friends and neighbors have been so well received. They are beautifully made and the lift that they have provided for cancer patients is beyond words. The cancer journey is life altering. Neither patient nor caregiver are ever the same, regardless of outcome. These quilts provide a constant reminder for patients that they are loved. So grateful for this service.
I cannot begin to tell you how thoughtful the gift of a beautiful quilt was from the Kemptville, Ontario chapter, which was personally delivered. At a time when I had just completed my cancer treatment, it has meant a lot to me knowing that your organization is bringing that joy, and colour to so many others. I have also shared the info with others I know, who are dealing with cancer in their lives. Thank you so very much.

Thank you for the beautiful quilt delivered on May 13 by Mrs. Lazorko, such a kind lady. We spent some time chatting, I shared my care journey dealing with breast cancer, the second time for me in 10 years. I will get many hours of spiritual comfort as I continue my treatment in this this journey to ensure I remain cancer free for many years to come.
Victoria’s Quilts Volunteers are incredibly gifted and talented in their craft of quilt making.

His cousin arranged for him to have it when she found out he had cancer. It has meant so much to him and is enjoyed every day. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who lovingly donate their time effort and supplies. It is truly appreciated.
