A few years back, I received the most beautiful quilt from Victoria’s Quilts which had been requested by my husband’s friend and his wife. I had not been familiar with your wonderful work in providing gorgeous hand made quilts for people dealing with cancer. Fast forward to a couple of years ago, and I requested a quilt for a former coworker who was as equally delighted with hers, as I was, with mine. This past week I reached out yet again for a relative who is currently undergoing chemotherapy several provinces away, in Calgary, Alberta. I was astonished when he contacted me yesterday to let me know he had received the “beautiful gift” already! Wow – less than one week and it was delivered to his door! My relative stated in his message to me – “It is more than material – it is LOVE”…
What an amazing organization you have. Your volunteers are to be commended for all the love they donate in their work and time! Thank you – thank you – thank you!
Dear Victoria’s Quilts Canada Team,
I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt thanks for the beautiful handmade quilt that was so generously donated and delivered to my door today.
Receiving this quilt truly touched my heart. The care, time, and love that went into making it are so evident, and it brings both comfort and warmth in a way that words can hardly describe. Knowing it was created by caring hands and delivered with such kindness made the experience even more meaningful.
Please extend my deepest gratitude to the volunteers who lovingly made the quilt and to everyone involved in coordinating and delivering it. Your compassion and generosity make a real difference, and I am incredibly grateful to be a recipient of such a thoughtful gift.
With heartfelt thanks and appreciation,
Antonia

I cannot tell you how much this organization has meant to me. Six years ago I received a quilt when I was going through a year of chemo, surgery and radiation. It was like getting a huge hug. It was requested from my sister who is now going through her own cancer journey and she received a wonderful quilt as well. Thank you to all the volunteers who make this possible.

Thank you so much for the beautiful handmade Victoria Quilt requested by my daughter’s good friend – Tammy R – from Saskatoon; made by the Neepawa Branch of Victoria Quilts and delivered by “Lucy.” This kind gesture of kindness and thoughtfulness brings comfort and reminds me of the blessings in my life. It will keep me warm during the next six months of treatments. I was not aware of this organization and shall certainly support them. Thank you to all the volunteers of this wonderful organization who are making a warm difference.

Thank you sooooo much. This program is so deeply touching and has brought joy to myself, my mom, my friend and we all thank you so much. There are angels in this world. 🙏🏼🩷🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🩷🙏🏼
I would like to thank Victoria’s Quilts Canada for the comforting quilt that I received just before Christmas. This act of kindness means a lot.
Bless you and all the volunteers that make this possible.

It brought tears to my eyes and such joy to my heart to have such a beautiful gift delivered. A wonderful friend Pat who is part of the Okotoks, Ab Branch was instrumental in organizing my delivery. My cancer is healing well and snuggling under my beautiful quilt is a daily reminder of how many beautiful blessings I have been given in my life. I truly did not realize that the amazing Victorias Quilts organization even existed…. I understand now how valuable it is and shall certainly support them from now on.

Thank you so much Victorias Quilts for the beautiful quilt I received today. It is a very appreciated gift that is an amazing symbol of thoughtfulness and care and a reminder that you’re not alone. An extra special thank you to the Okotoks branch and to Geri.

Hello,
I requested a quilt for a friend. They are loving it and they take it to chemo treatments to stay warm.
The people who make these are wonderful and do a great job. Thank you for all your time you donate.

Today I received a beautiful quilt that really touched my heart!!! Dealing with a cancer diagnosis has been so difficult to accept, but it is what I need to do. Last week I had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from my lung…. the recovery has been painful and difficult and I will make great use of my Victoria’s Quilt. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the amazing volunteers!! Your work brightened my day!!!
