Established in 2018, the Hamilton/Niagara Branch of Victoria Quilt’s Canada (VQC) provides quilts to residents of the Regional Municipalities of Hamilton/Wentworth, Niagara and parts of Haldimand. With a current membership of about 70 (sewers and delivery people), the hub of the Branch operates out of St. Catharines.  We have a group of dedicated volunteers who meet weekly at St. Barnabas church in St. Catharines who sew and keep our “stash” in order and needed supplies in stock.  We also have two Friends groups, one meets in Smithville, the other meets in Fonthill. 

We are very grateful for our community support in both Niagara and Hamilton areas that keeps us running.  

The Branch currently produces and delivers approximately an average of 15-18 quilts per month.  Anyone interested in volunteering, in any capacity is welcomed with open arms.
